Last month, I took a trip to Orlando. The reason I went was for my job. Now, when most people say that they take a trip for their job, they are talking about a trip that they were sent on by their boss. However, in my case, my trip was a little different. The reason it was different is because I don’t have a boss. Instead of having a boss to tell me what to do, I am a freelance photographer who is completely responsible for my own successes or failures.
The reason I went down to Orlando on a “business trip” is because of some acquaintances I had made online. I am active in several online photography communities, and as a result of my contributions to these communities, I had met several models and photographers in the Orlando area. After quite a bit of discussion, we decided it would be wonderful to set up a couple of photo shoots in Orlando over the course of several days. I was nervous about whether or not things were going to go smoothly, but I am happy to report that my trip was an absolute success!
