Orlando is a fun city to visit. It’s been a year since my last trip to Orlando, but I’m hoping to find some free time to go there again during the course of the next six months. The reason that I want to return is that I have visited Orlando multiple times, and I have never had a bad experience while being there.

If you are going to Orlando for the first time and aren’t exactly sure what you should try to do or see while you are there, I have come up with a list ofrecommendations that will help you populate your itinerary with some great activities and destinations:

Discovery Cove: This is a very enjoyable water park to visit. Whether you are in Orlando with your whole family or just with a smaller group, I can guarantee that children and adults alike will have a great time at Discovery Cove. I know that the highlight of my trip to Discovery Cove was getting the opportunity to swim with dolphins!

La Nouba: If you have ever been to a Cirque du Soleil show, you know how amazing they are, and La Nouba is no exception. To top things off, this Cirque du Soleil show is performed in a Downtown Disney theater that is quite gorgeous.

Harry P. Leu Gardens: Although there are lots of enjoyable active things that you can do during a trip to Orlando (and which I recommend, such as number one on my list), there are going to be times when you need a break. With very reasonable admission for both children and adults, the Harry P. Leu Gardens are a great place to go if you are looking for an enjoyable place to recharge your batteries during the course of your trip.
